Pakistan drop down to 88 points level with West Indies - tied for eighth in the rankings. If only this series were to have taken place prior to the 30 September deadline to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy.

Well good for Zimbabwe and I hope Pakistan will lose some more odi matches so that the West Indies can be ranked higher than one of the original test playing nations.

Yeah, I gotta agree. Given the way that Pakistan purposefully avoided scheduling any more ODIs after their series win against Sri Lanka to all buy ensure their qualification, there is no way they would have come off the field if this game actually counted towards the qualification.
