“I want to work on the batting and get some improvements in that area. This camp has helped a lot with the batting especially with the drills I have been put through. The camp has been very helpful because I have learnt a few things to improve my batting and by December I should be where I want to be,†said Seetal.
He divulged that the West Indies camps have become second nature since becoming familiar with the coaching staff which has enabled him to perform at his best.
“I don’t lose any time getting settled because I am familiar with how things work and what the coaches want. Other guys would need time to settle and get accustom to being in the set-up. I don’t need that any more and I could just get down to business right away,†said Seetal.
The West Indies Under-19 player noted that he has benefited from having Jyd Goolie, Kirstan Kallicharan and Keagan Simmons with him at various training camps.
“Feels really knowing the guys are with me and are looking up to me. I am really happy to be in their company and the comradery is really good. We work well together and are having a good time training, pushing each other and it really helps mentally and also plays an important role in raising our game,†said Seetal.
