Coach Trevor Bayliss says England's one-day team have an "exciting future" after a summer that has seen a dramatic improvement from a dismal World Cup.
England beat World Cup finalists New Zealand 3-2 in June and pushed world champions Australia before defeat in Sunday's decider sealed a 3-2 defeat.
"The development of some individuals has come a long way," said Bayliss.
"There are some exciting young players in the England set-up and it will be an exciting future."
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Well I hope to see that future in the t20 version as well because England is one of the weakest top test nations in t20 cricket.

While that may be true for recent years, lets not forget that they won the 2010 T20 World Cup. They also just beat New Zealand and Australia in T20 matches this year.
It's also worth pointing out that since the start of T20I's, England have the same win-loss ratio (1.00) as both New Zealand and West Indies.
I have been highly critical of the England mindset and selection policy in white ball cricket over the last 2 years, however, many changes have been implemented since their dismal showing at the World Cup. Their personnel and attitude have been given a complete overhaul, to the point where they are now not just competitive, but also beating teams like Australia and New Zealand. I agree with Bayliss, this is a very exciting ODI squad. The core nucleus is young and very aggressive.
