St. JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC- Antigua, headquarters of the West Indies Cricket Board, (WICB) will play host to the next Town Hall Meeting, organized by the governing body for the sport in the region.
The public event, which encourages residents to air their views on the state of West Indies cricket, takes place at the Multi-Purpose Centre in Perry’s Bay on Friday.
“This will be an extra-special town-hall meeting, considering that it will be staged in the home base of the WICB,†said Dave Cameron, WICB president.
“We know Antiguans are passionate about the game and we urge them to come out and share their thoughtsâ€.
The WICB leadership has been engaging stakeholders through the series of town-hall meetings around the region since May this year.
Cameron and WICB vice president Emanuel Nanthan normally attend the meetings and take questions from the public.
“Throughout the series of town-hall meetings, we have received a great deal of valuable feedback and we will continue to take into consideration all the views with the overall aim of being efficient and effective as we seek to spur the re-investment in the sport that we all love so much in the Caribbean,†said Cameron.
“We’re enthusiastic about continuing to use these sessions to listen to concerns and share information about where West Indies cricket is now, our strategic goals for the future and how the fans can impact upon the way we progress.â€
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

fools catharsis is what this is all about..an opportunity to expiate air..pent up air. and once that is done the bandwagon moves on..
by next year this time the situation will be incrementally worse at the very least if the bottom does not actually fall right out of west indies cricket

Well I hope this meeting will have some positive impact on West Indies cricket because as far as I see these events are a waste of time and resources because the WICB will not take any suggestion from the fans.
