Permaul, Bishoo and Warrican were 3 of the top four wicket takers in the last PCL. Permaul took the most wickets (a massive 67) in the competition, then Bishoo, then Warrican. Warrican had the lowest strike rate of all spinners in the PCL, though; he takes more wickets in less balls and less innings than Permaul or Bishoo.

Still, I would have played Permaul and Bishoo together in Sri Lanka. They work well together, can bat a bit too and it would have been fun to see them in tandem (though WI never seem to play 2 spinners in tests).

Warrican is only 23; he has time. Perhaps he was selected because he can bat too. I have no idea.

you were talking about Indo marginalization and I assumed the political aspect of it.  can BG and Titty combine to derail selection for example that displeases allyuh..or to get who allyuh want elected ::confused::

not if the cricket is split along racial lines and the dots siding with Jamaica.  the best that would be possible is a split if Bim go along with with a Titty/BG indo axis.  if Bim goes with the Yard then there is the combination that can keep an Afro axis in power with certainty.  but there is no guarantee for many reason why Bim would not be certain to maintain an Afro axis.

Bim cannot necessarily be counted on as black due to its historical orientation. and there is a very long tradition of cooperation between Bim/BG/Titty that may at times for sure trump an Afro axis.  but that would produce split..no decision.

selection:

when it comes to selection no matter how things have frayed relative to historical connection, we must still accord west indian team selection some semblance of its historically derived patterns.

west indies driven by lack of finance and proper scouting, evolved means of perception that resulted in brilliant, almost sight unseen selections over its history.  John Trim, Ram and Val and many others were picked on spec and on assessments or personality and some glimpse of ability that game the impression of being deep  wells of talent.  there were mistakes along the way but I learned to trust west indies selection to be right most of the time..even where obvious frenism was involved

I was immediately taken aback by Warrican over Permaul..then giving the selectors the benefit of the doubt I will wait to see how that selection turns out.  we have hd the benefit of Permaul over at least 5 years and there are still questions.  and Permaul is one player at least who has been very well treated by the wicb, with favour and opportunity.  what! have they seen something  in Warrican above the ordinary...or do they just wish to encourage the Dots by an inclusion worthy at least on recent results ::confused::

and Warrican is Bajan.... not a Dotty.  I know Warrican up the Dots.  did not know it was Bajan too.

there are a whole  lot of Bajans in the team...

Holder, Roach, Hope, Braithwaites(2), Dowrich, Warrican.....

interesting!

listen!  as I explained above I was talking cricket politics and the distribution of votes.

you want Indo proper influence on the cricket..produce 1 to 3 world class players now...who can take west indies cricket and lift it up the ladder..2 batsmen and a bowler..any dam type for that matter as long as they are dominant.  that would do the trick.  they would be come captain..v cap. their opinion will become dominant performance with the indo community behind then with something to crow about and there you have your control

west indies cricket is a sea of crap. down to the bottom and you are there too..fighting over NOTHING of worth.  you have nutten to contribute..no players no administrators no nutten that would make the slightest positive difference to the current west Indian status.
so all your noise means nutten.

another way to rise up would be to have plan and program.  I am yet to seen an Indo west indian intellectual come out with a nationalist program designed to life west indian fortunes that all can see is worthwhile.  allyuh point mih if there is indeed such.  I want to see.

if Indos in charge what will they do for the west indies?

the closest I have seen relative to such is Frank Birbalsingh in The Rise of West Indian Cricket..From Colony to Nation..a very sweet read that falls short of program..what role did/do Indos play in all such development?  what role are they to play now ::confused::

the west indian nation is there...you are part of it, qualified part, earned part but your role has been limited to sectarian issues.  well its long past that time now.  if there is vacuum at all it is the space that Indos have not filled yet..their nationalist role and part in the nation..a sincere role consistent with the interest of all and how Indos  would like to see the nation develop in addressing its needs and the role they intend to play in that development.

right now the cricket is there rudderless relative to the cricket.. as the cricket resource has been channeled into a source of wealth for a parasitic administrative bureau.  the generative source oif reform can be sighted nowhere, the black population of the west indies now a neo colonial rump, all uncle Toms, cannot reform the region if their lives depended on such reform.  and trust me..they live do so depend on such reform..and the lives of Indo west indians as well.  so where it the reform to come from..locate a genus fuh mih them sketchim ::confused::

by right it shud be Indo time in the west indies.  Indos have not been there en masses in the nationalist question on the positive side.  they are a collective force as yet untapped in this vital question.  it is time for them...there is a vaccum that will be filled by even more evil, not only in the cricket but in the general social life.  it is tome for nationalist Indos to rise up with analysis,m plan and program to address west indian problems in areas of the social life..to come with solutions and move right  into the centre and drive the region forward

instead of that all we have is sketchim's separatist nonsense, coddling ethocentric jakasses like Wifan etc.  wake up! it is time to get real.  are you west indian or not ::confused::  if you are there is a nation to formalise and your part in such construction is crucial.  so play the dam part already :(
