Remember Arshad Khan? The Pakistan off-spinner, who made his debut against West Indies in 1997-98? Arshad Khan played 9 Tests and 58 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in between 1997 to 2006. On Monday, a social media user, Ganesh Birle, shared the information on Facebook that the former Pakistan cricketer was seen driving Uber Taxi in Sydney. In a sad story shared on Facebook by Birle, he wrote, “He was the driver of our cab and we started chatting."
During the conversation, Arshad said, "I have been to Hyderabad many times when I was playing for Lahore Badshahs something in ICL."
"I asked him his full name and then I was shocked to see his face which I could partially recognize," Birle said.
“He was avoiding the conversation all the time, but at the same time he couldn’t help but talk about his India connection."
Arshad last ODI and Test matches came against India in Rawalpindi and Bangalore. He picked up 32 Test wickets and 56 in ODIs.

Arshad Khan is not the first ex-cricketer to become a taxi driver after retirement; former Kiwi pace bowler Ewen Chatfield is currently driving taxi's back home in Wellington. Chatfield had a pretty decent career in both Test and ODI's, picking up 263 wickets at a more than respectable average.
Despite this, Chatfield is probably best remembered for getting hit in the temple by a Peter Lever bouncer in 1975, rendering him unconscious and swallowing his tongue.

So..??
What if he is driving a taxi..? Why do ppl and the system hinge on the wrong notion that physical work is menial. It is a foolish concept.!!
I am proud of him being a honest man, earning his livelihood by working hard. Not like fixers who malign the game and say still want to prove something, for instance Mr."ASS" (Butt)
