The Indian Cricket team is suffering from major injury problems going into the third and the final test match as their in-form opener Murali Vijay and wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha have been ruled out of the series due to injury.
The Indian Cricket Team was already not complete as their other in-form opener Shikhar Dhawan was unable to play the second test match due to the hand injury. Dhawan had scored century in the first test match against Sri Lanka.
Vijay was unable to play the first match so it means that India will go into the third match with third different opening pair. Lokesh Rahul has been out of form but due to Vijay and Dhawan's injuries, he will play all three matches.
Exclusion of Vijay and Dhawan means that now India will have to call up their A side batsman Karun Nair, who is not capped yet and may make his debut in the third test match. Naman Ojha will be the replacement of Saha.
Nair had scored a century against South Africa A and helped his side secure the 4-day test match. Ojha was also impressive in the domestic cricket in last season and scored a lot against Australia A in Australia.
