The Chairman,do you think India can just bounce back and hit them real hard ?
SL is a land of wily people, not generalizing but these cricketers often pace themselves real good. What are your views ?? Will India bounce back or lay dead and be a prey to these Lions ?

India's record away from home has been beyond dismal in recent years. Over the last 5 years, they have won just 3 matches, lost 17 and drawn 9. The only team with a worse won/loss ratio over this period is Zimbabwe, who are winless in 6 away matches.
India's last series win away from home came against West Indies in June 2011. Odds are strongly in Sri Lanka's favour to win this series, especially after such a soul destroying win in the first Test.
If Sri Lanka were to win this series, India would drop to 7th in the rankings.

No denying the stat, quite pathetic.Lets see how India makes a match out of the test in colombo.
Oh btw, will it be a swap in rankings if SL win this ?/
Ind-7th and SL 5th ? or will England leapfrog both these teams ?

If Sri Lanka were to win, they would move up to sixth ahead of India and India would drop to 7th. If England are able to avoid losing the fifth Test against Australia, I believe they would jump up to 2nd in the rankings with Australia dropping to third.

I didn't realise just how poor Sharma has been over the last 20 months. His career average of 35.84 is thanks in large part to the 288 runs he scored against West Indies in 2013. Since then, he has scored just 348 runs in 15 innings at an average of 24.85, managing just two fifties.
To put his ineffeciency into context, since 2014 there have been 45 top order batsman (1-6) that have batted at least 15 times, the only two batsman with a lower average are Pujara (24.15) and Thirimanne (17.52). If Murali Vijay doesn't recover from his hamstring injury and Pujara were to come into the team to replace him, the three worst top order batsman will all appear in the second Test.

Haha..Its happening buddy.Vijay isn't gonna recover anytime soon acc to local sources.
A pity that Dhawan had to get injured during the first test.honestly i don't really believe in this lad.His talent is visile only on flat tracks, but damn..still he gets the long rope.
