Vivian Richards, Brian Lara, Courtly Ambrose and you can just keep naming them. West Indies have got plenty in the tank when it comes to heavy cricketing brains. The onus is on the Board as to how they can employ the available expertise in the best possible way. Guys who have seen and had framed the golden era of Caribbean cricket should be handed over the charge of revamping, motivating and fostering young talent across West Indies, which can go a long way in ameliorating the status of their cricket.

Well it has been proven time and time again that good players don't necessarily equals good coaches. The fact that these guys where great players don't mean they can effectively teach the tough-headed current generation of players
