Its because Indian tracks are flat tracks and not a bowler will be self motivated to bowl at 150 +, let alone that ,even a 140 + will suffice
When we have rank turners, how can we produce fast bowlers ??

these questions do not take reality into consideration.....
west indies produced great pace and spin at the same time....so did and does Australia. england too.
it is not the pitches or the conditions that is decisive.
Pakistan produced Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and Waquar Younis on the Pakistani roads they have over there. from Fazal Mahmood at the start Pak has produced great pace.
how in the hell is that ::confused::
they themselves tell us that they face a daunting task bowling on the Pak pitches, so they had to come up with something..reverse swing.
that is how it goes all the time. you have to find a way with what you have. and all nations do. it is only the wicb bawlin' but somehow never get around to 'fixing' the very pitches they bawl about.
that is because they are the same old pitches we always had. the real decline is in administrative performance for obvious reasons..that has contributed mightily to the low quality of players we now produce

of course you agree with Bala because he supports your argument. but both of you are wrong.
for the longest while India was just like the west indies by way of management and that is what kept Indian cricket down. India would pik players exclusively on class and skin tone. not for nutten do Indians buy skin whitening creams.
India got good management, things changed rapidly for the better regardless of the pitches/playing conditions
nothing has changed relative to Indian pitches in a basic way as far as I know but India has been one of the top teams in the world for at least 20 years running..sever since Sarouv Ganguly was made captain
as soon as Indian cricket began to be fed by wider streams of players by all classes etc., things got better.
west indies now have a jakass management where we once had the best. that is the real problem with west indies cricket..the absolute out and out worse management of all the cricket nations..indeed in all of organized sports

I am not just blaming the pitches.I am blaming it on the players attitude.
They just don't wanna crank up pace fearing injuries/Strenous sessions to bowl in there on a dead pitch.
I might have wrongly conveyed it but this is what i meant.

man hard work is not only bending back. it is also taking the time to learn to bowl the dam ball. you know dat dont you :-[
it can take time and loads of practice to achieve that. Macco an dem put in the practice..they study bowling, the study batsmen..the go seek out great pacers and get advice. internationally pacers look out for each other. they teach each other what they know regardless of where deh from. Lillee taught Marshall and so on
you think hard work is risking injury. no sir! the hard work is what Roberts meant..just what I say there. Roberts say deh doh work hard at all. and looking at a skunt like Cottrelll that is indeed the truth. perfect example of what Roberts say is mister cottrell.
that MF is never fit, mostly gets his arse cut in all forms of the game. cottrell as been so bad I am sure by now he has been beaten right out of the runnings for a place on the team

India's pacers have been steadily increasing in quality and pace over the past decade. We have had a few bowlers who were able to crack the 140-150 kph mark consistently like Umesh Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Munaf Patel, etc. In my honest opinion, its more about talent than strength and conditioning.
