Hampshire's Royal London Cup match against Glamorgan at Cardiff was abandoned yesterday after umpires deemed the pitch unplayable. I was watching this one live and must admit, things got pretty dicey when Hampshire came to bat. Both Michael Carberry and Jimmy Adams were struck in the helmet by rising length deliveries and the game was called off after 6.4 overs of the second innings.
You can see video of the two deliveries in question below. The ball that hit Jimmy Adams was particularly dangerous as it came off a good length delivery.
