A burgeoning partnership between Haddin and Johnson is broken with a beauty of an outswinger from Jimmy. He has made the new ball sing and dance. The ball is moving all over the show. Australia 304/8.

A stunning catch from Joe Root puts an end to Australia's innings, all out for 308. Brilliant from England this morning.

I see deh making noise about pitches again..the Cardiff pitch this time.
bowlers are talking wickets so wat is wrong with Cardif. Johnson is an old fast bowler. he shud be retired instead of playing test cricket fuh crise sake. so no sooprise if he cyar get wickets finally. his synthetic must have worn off

Jonny for the nexx TEST : give this Butler a rest !
58.2
Lyon to Buttler, and he's gone! Going for the reverse sweep, gets a bit of bat or glove, loops in the air and it's a simple grab
for Haddo...it was glove. Buttler walked straightaway
JC Buttler c †Haddin b Lyon 7

Starc to Stokes, OUT, and another! Double strike for Australia. Stokes drags on a full delivery, going for the drive, perhaps his feet
didn't quite move and it disturbs the wood work
BA Stokes b Starc 42 (59b 9x4 0x6) SR: 71.18
