Discarded West Indies and Jamaica batsman Xavier Marshall blasted 186 runs in a 40 over league match in New Jersey, USA. Marshall crunched 11 fours and blasted 14 sixes in his knock for Somerset Cavaliers Cricket Club in NJ’s Millennium Cricket League. The match also featured former Jamaican & West Indies player, Jermain Lawson and former Guyana player Gajanand Singh as Marshall’s teammates.
Lawson bowled 4 overs or 26 runs without any scalps while Singh scored 56.
Notable members of the opposition were Guyana player, Chanderpaul Hemraj (scored 18) and Amir Khan (Scored 76 and picked up 1 for 40). Zamal Khan, former Guyana & West Indies youth player also scored 51 in the match batting against Marshall’s team.
