good read.........
again in parts it highlights the futility involved..in the cricket.
the wicb has nothing to do with the cricket really. it is a construct of lucrative sinecures for west indian professionals..for which jobs, knowing cricket is not a requirement or qualification.
that is what they are there for. the cricket is only incidental, the field product..not their real purpose. they don't know about cricket and cant do the job required of them for the cricket to prosper. but they don't care. the sinecure is the thing
the wicb is the problem..but even more fundamental is the west indian system that facilitated the evolution of the wicb as it. the one is bigger than other and makes it so..the way things are. it is west indian society from the groud up that must be reformed.
when that occurs the cricket admin will automatically be reformed

The Combine will have two phases, with Phase 1 being an open trial.
All eligible players in the Americas region can apply
online
for the opportunity to be selected to attend the trial
that will take place at the World Sports Park in Indianapolis from 18 to 21 September.
