JAMAICA and West Indies star batsman Marlon Samuels has officially launched his foundation which will give support to the blind and visually impaired.
The all-rounder made the announcement at a party held at his upscale residence in Chancery Hall, St Andrew on Monday.
Ambassador Courtney Walsh, West Indies bowling coach Sir Curtly Ambrose, Coach Phil Simmons and limited overs Captain Jason Holder were among a number of notable individuals who attended the event.

by way of commentary.......
Irony for true but good move for Marlon Samuels.
it shows he has made some money and will give back..and will help to bring in more for a good cause.
nice move

Marlon has a sense of decency and desire to give back to the community...
This is not the first charitable event he's been involved with .....

I don't see the irony in a man who has the money deciding to give back to people who are physically disabled! Samuels may not have been the best to have represented the West Indies but at least he saw the need to give something back.
