that the west indies can afford to carry shive for these last 2 tests..that was no one lined up to replace him who is better than he is..declining or not

if Shive was in the side we would have scored better.  shive had an aura around him that made the team stronger.  by dropping him the nasty public way they did they destroyed that aura and the magic it held for the team. if they bring him back now it may not work again

* Remember when Shiv scored 46 in the first innings of the 1st test versus England ? It was the 2nd highest score of that innings---Blackwood made 112 and he had Shiv shared a 93 run partnership.

* DID SHIV TALK TO BLACKWOOD AND GUIDE HIM In THAT PARTNERSHIP ? YES!

* When Shiv made 25 in the first innings of the 3rd test---it was the 2nd highest score----again Blackwood(85) was the highest scorer---and he and Shiv shared a decent partnership.

* DID BLACKWOOD BENEFIT BATTING WITH SHIV ? YES!

* OK! Shiv failed in his last 2 series, but surely the man could have been give a farewell test.

* Oh well! That's history. Lemme enjoy WI defeats from henceforth.

they dont  regard the importance shive is to the team..the glue that he was, how his presence solidified the team.
