Opener suffers blow to helmet before displaying symptoms of concussion
Chris Rogers has been ruled out of the first Test against the West Indies due to concussion.
The opener was struck on the helmet by a net bowler in training on Sunday and displayed symptoms of concussion when assessed later that evening.
Team doctor Dr Peter Brukner confirmed today that he'd made the decision to rule Rogers out of the match, in keeping with Cricket Australia's policy surrounding concussion.

Rogers batted briefly after the blow to the helmet, inflicted by a local net bowler :
but pulled up sore on Monday morning and was ruled out by the team doctor !!
Draft this local net bowler a la Fidel Edwards by Brian Lara
