The Federation of International Cricketers’ Associations, the umbrella group for player unions around the world, has been sounded out over the creation of a rebel cricket organisation by intermediaries working for Subhash Chandra, the Indian billionaire and owner of the Essel Group.
The Guardian reported on Friday that the International Cricket Council has launched an urgent investigation
after Essel, the conglomerate behind the defunct Indian Cricket League, began setting up companies and website domains that give the appearance of being cricket boards, raising fears over a split in the game.
It has now emerged that Fica, which represents unions from seven Test-playing counties including the Professional Cricketers’ Association in England, had been approached by representatives of Essel at the start of the year to establish whether they were interested in the project.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Investors will need deep deep pockets and years of patience if a breakaway is to happen outside established cricket nations.

A split along these lines is not good...2 groups of billionaires looking fuh some kind of advantage dat in the end have nutten to do with player interest. deh get wat deh want and deh drop the players...like Kerry Packer
wat players need is not split but splinter, atomize mash it all up and come back again in time from the ground up...reorganize from the ground up, not the top down

really timmy jay ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused:: by that analysis if you born and grow up from small yuh shud be bent and about to cantilever over forwards or backwards..or to either side...or to roll ovah an' start walking on yuh hands and eating with yuh foot :-[ :-[ :-[
so which direction your body inclined to fall over in ::confused::
everything I see start small, grow to full height and age, then quail dong, dead, rot or atomize, re-fertilize things to grow more. so when things bad with anything at all it is usually a function of its age and growing lack of fitness in existence...approaching death time for atomization and renewal.
interesting Timmy ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL::

so which interest will prevail..the players or the billionaires?
how soon before the billionaires get the players to put on revealing shorts, no tops and parade on stage like a real live meat market for talent ::confused::
I don't want no kiss my arse billionaire making me jump through hoops. piss on billionaires. rid of them is what I want to get and to make things human again..go watch a game to see the play and don't have to worry about billionaire profit
