I think what Snoopster said is absolutely correct.
From what I remember Narine came to IPL prominence playing for TT. At that time he was not on the WI radar. His IPL success led to him continuing to get what I presume are lucrative IPL contracts.
Narine is always going to put IPL first and that's his choice and I have no problem with that. In fact I would go so far as to say that he would be "mad" not to put IPL before the WI given the offers made to him.
He has only played a few tests for the windies with not particularly good results.
IMO the recent back and forth and Narine withdrawing from the world cup was all done to somehow safeguard his IPL survival at least for this year.

Yes. Snoops and boquiesse might be completely correct, but we won't know until the WICB start regularly picking him for tests.
I feel Narine is underrated by people who dont watch him in the CPL/IPL. He is/was too amazing for the WI to just let him slip away without a fight.

Once he is completely cleared of his actions,i would then regard him the best.it does look like he is just being illegal, but let all these get sorted first. He,without doubt is the best spinner, provided he is cleared of all allegations.
