Oh crap. me just get an AHA moment. I can see clearly.
A TT/CAN man did say dat Holding single handedly drive WI coach Simmons from WI test team. Now me did merely point out dat Simmons test average was a measly 22.27 after 47 innings. I can only guess dat de greatness was coming sometime after dat.
But I see dat Pollard average 25.21 after 85 ODI innnings and Dwayne B 25.37 after 141 ODI innings. Dwayne B have 2, yes 2 centuries in dem 141 innings. Yet dis man say dem ah score runs a plenty.
I guess 20 to 25 average is RUNS A PLENTY.
And just tink dem English fire Cook who in 92 ODI innings average 36.41.
Me ah go look up wat jingoism mean.

During de world cup Jason Holder raised his batting average from 14.73 to 22.64.
WELL DONE. Keep going and get that batting average to 30+

Jingoism is derived from the word Spanish word Django meaning "to fight". Story bout a man fighting injustice, same like what Davis is doing

Ok, my dictionary says: "extreme nationalism characterized esp. by a belligerent foreign policy; chauvinistic patriotism".
There is no doubt that Bravo and Pollard were "victimized" by the WICB and both Bravo and Pollard would have been in the World Cup side.
However there is absolutely nothing to suggest that the WI would have advanced beyond the quarter finals with Bravo and Pollard in the side. As a matter of fact the scorecard I posted shows a WI side that did worse in their quarterfinal in 2011 than this one did in 2015.

Now if we go back to 2007 when WI had all de advantages of playing in front of their home crowds they stunk up de place.
In de Super Eigths they were beaten by Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, England.
Mr Dwayne Bravo made 129 runs and averaged 21.50. Now lest someone say he make up for it with his bowling he took 13 wickets, average 27.76, econ rate 5.56. There were 6 west indian bowlers above him with a better econ rate but he was the 2nd highest wicket taker.
