Saker was due to leave the national setup in August after he agreed to join Big Bash League side Melbourne Renegades as its head coach for the 2015/16 season.
According to The Guardian, Saker had hoped to hold onto his current role until at least the end of the upcoming Test series, but the ECB have reportedly informed the Australian he is surplus to requirements.
Saker is now expected to be granted an early release from his contract with the ECB.
The report suggests that Ottis Gibson will return for a second stint as England’s bowling coach after leaving the England camp to become the head coach of the West Indies.
Gibson was sacked by the West Indies Cricket Board late last year and is now widely tipped to make a return to England.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
