Ireland's skipper William Porterfield has been taking issue with the " established norms " of the cricket hierarchy for almost all of this World Cup, and found no reason to alter tack on the eve of the match that will determine whether or not his team progress into the knockouts.Porterfield's men are experiencing up to the fact that for all the efforts of Ireland along with other Associates, defeat to Pakistan will mean the quarter -finals are filled completely by Full Member countries. Queried on that predicament in front of the mooted downsizing of the tournament to 10 teams in 2019, Porterfield was frank - the game's second tier had already carried out more than enough to merit their inclusion and the preservation of a bigger tournament. Ireland's advancement this tournament has been to some degree spotty, interspersing fascinating victories over the West Indies, UAE and Zimbabwe with huge margins of defeat at the hands of South Africa and India. Porterfield took succour from the fact that his men have develop into accomplished at squeaking through to victories in tight situations- they are going to look to take the game deep against Misbah-ul-Haq's men and then rely on composure.

I think the qualifying tournament should be held in the country in which the tournament will be held.
So for 2019 the qualifying tournament should have been scheduled for England.
As it is it will be held in Bangladesh.
