Kaieteur News article.
Georgetown, Guyana - A mature and classy half century from national Under-17 opener Adrian Sukwah and a four wicket haul from his Albion team mate Asif Ally led the powerful Lower Corentyne Under-17 team to a massive 9-wicket victory over New Amsterdam/Canje Combined in the final of the Republic Bank Guyana Limited Inter Zone 2014 Under-17 competition played last Saturday at the Albion Sports Complex.
New Amsterdam/Canje won the toss and elected to take first strike with a reasonable start of 23 before they lost the prolific Guyana Under-15 all rounder Kevin Sinclair for 8. From then on, they struggled to score against a disciplined attack and were bowled out for a paltry 112 in 42 of their allowed 50 overs.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

1. A start of 23 runs is "reasonable" - only if that was after 1 or 2 overs.
2. 112 in 42 overs. Damn, that's 2.67 runs per over - worser than test match scoring these days.
3. Dem fellahs not watching world cup 2015?
