West Indies opener Chris Gayle has said that retirement from Test cricket is "a possibility".
Gayle has suffered from back problems over the last few years which has affected his ability to play in the five day game.
"It's a possibility you never know, so let's see what happens," Gayle told Digicel Cricket.
"In the later stages this back problem kind of pushed me away from Test cricket. To be able to go five days has been tough.
"I haven't sorted my situation yet which is the back problem. That is a concern, it's something to look forward to because I've been playing cricket straight on the road and didn't really get a chance to give the back the time to heal."
Gayle, 35, scored the first ever Cricket World Cup double century last week against Bangladesh.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
