It was an idiotic decision to 'permanently' drop KP in the first place. I believe that the primary reason for bringing back Moores as coach would be to appoint an additional yesman who would be in opposition to selecting KP.The performances in the CWC so far have already been poor. Moores and Saker should be sacked with immediate effect and Paul Farbrace appointed as temporary head coach for the remainder of England's engagement in the tournament.England's ODI team continues to be wrecked by the Conspiracy of Cook. Cook was chosen as captain of the ODI team as a way to succeed Andrew Strauss as England skipper. In Between 2008 and his appointment as ODI leader in 2011, Cook played just 3 ODIs knowning that was only because he was stand -in captain for that tour of Bangladesh in 2010. One can possibly draw the conclusion that back in 2008, the selectors of that time period recognized that Cook wasn't a suitable ODI batsman, so his recall to the one- day team was a peculiar selection, to put it mildly. In my opinion, this disaster has also made the tenures of Paul Downton and James Whitaker untenable.Despite The Fact That Graves says that KP needs to be playing county cricket to be considered for England selection, I have faith that this will only apply to first- class cricket as a step to returning to the Test team. If KP performs in this springs IPL as he did in the BB down under, he ought to be picked for the ODI and T20 teams.
