Sidelined West Indies wicketkeeper, Carlton Baugh Jr, has been dropped from the Jamaica Franchise four-day squad ahead of their WICB Professional League clash against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force at Sabina Park, starting today.
The 32-year-old Baugh Jr, who made his first-class debut 15 years ago, is one of two players who has been axed, with the other being another out-of-favour West Indies batsman, Nkrumah Bonner.
The two have been replaced by opener Shacaya Thomas, who was left out of Jamaica's last fixture against the Windwards Volcanoes, and uncapped 23-year-old former national youth batsman Cassius Burton.

Baugh's position behind the stumps is set to be taken by part-time wicketkeeper Horace Miller, who played as a batsman against the Windwards.
"It's really rough when you have to leave out someone like a Baugh, who we know has done so much for Jamaica cricket over the years," said Jamaica captain Tamar Lambert.
"But such is the nature of the game. I know Carlton has the fighting spirit to come back, as the door is not closed on anybody," he added.
Jamaica, who defeated Trinidad in the first stage at Queen's Park Oval, are currently fourth in the standings on 57 points, as a result of three wins, two losses and a draw.
This is well off leaders the Guyana Jaguars, 92, while title-holders Barbados Pride are second on 77.
Meanwhile, two other matches will be played during the round. They are Barbados versus Guyana in a top-of-the-table clash at Kensington Oval, and the Leewards versus the Windwards at the Beausejour Stadium in St Lucia.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
