"Everybody can sing in the shower but not everybody can sing on the stage. You have got to be able to get it out of yourself to become a top-flight player" England coach, Peter Moores
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Holding made his comments on Match Point - the original Match Point show - which is freely available on ESPNcricinfo for every game throughout the World Cup as well as being shown simultaneously live on the ESPN TV network in USA and the Caribbean.
"I am not absolutely sure that they have the right team," Holding said. "There are guys who I have seen play for England in recent times who should be in this team. Alex Hales - OK he hasn't done a lot but he has the capability of doing a lot better than some of the guys in this team.
"I am not sure Ballance is a one-day cricketer. I think he is a fantastic Test batsman… I am not sure he has the right attitude for ODI cricket."

I love Mikey but he also said earlier in the summer that he didn't think Root should play ODI's and instead should just focus on Test cricket.
As for Ballance, he is short of match practice and it shows. I personally would have preferred Ravi over Ballance though it seems pretty obvious that Ravi is not trusted to bowl and he has been short of form himself. Hales needs to start next game. England really need to find some stability at the top of the order. Neither openers have set the foundation leaving the likes of Root, Morgan and the rest of the middle order to come in under serious pressure.

As far as I know he has. I think he only missed practice one day. I certainly hope he'll have a good game.

You definitely sound like an aggrieved PAK fan ... but for me I guess I don't like the IND team because of their Admin board (BCCI), their player prima donna status and the whole Indian 'worship like' response to players/cricket. I try to understand it, but don't like it ....
hell there is more to life !!! :-
....but Indian fans don't seem to think so and feed the Board and players !!
To each its own !!! :-[

It will be an agonising experience to watch .
