A cricket bat is a specialized piece of equipment in cricket to hit the ball. It typically consisting of a cane handle attached to a flat-fronted willow-wood blade. Its length is around 38 inches and width is around 4.25 inches.
The blade of a cricket bat is flat on the striking face and with a ridge on the back which concentrates wood in the middle where the ball is generally hit.
