This will only be meaningful if it makes a duifference to the team in the Test ranking and their rankings are improved and sustained!

Well NONE of the mediocre players over the past decade and a half :

has made any " improved and sustained" gains

I suppose the burden will be on the Young replacements  !

Exactly !

The prima donnas and gallery players failed to supply any tangible support thruout his Career !

BUT that did NOT affect him .

He ignored them all minus Lara and stuck to his J-O-B : of Scoring Runs, runs , runs...

He earned his PayCheque !

12K soon come

which makes him even greater than the Numbers show ! 8)
