Trinidad and Tobago wicketkeeper batsman Nicholas Pooran’s injuries sustained in a vehicular accident on Tuesday are not career threatening.
This is according to his Pooran’s father Lawrence who said his son’s surgery on Wednesday was a success and that the talented 19-year-old batsman was resting comfortably in hospital where he is being monitored.
Pooran underwent knee surgery yesterday to repair some of the tendon and cartilage damage he suffered in an accident in St Mary’s, near his home in Couva on Tuesday.
He was returning home from training with the national team currently preparing for next week’s Nagico Super50 regional one-day series to be staged in Trinidad and Tobago…
