After Ramdin's wicket fell, Shiv faced 8 out of 40 deliveries.
Chanders averages 34 batting at No 4 or higher.
Chanders averages 55 batting at No 5 or lower.
If you move Chanders up the order, he gets out early. If you move him down the order, the tail gets out before Chanders.
This shall henceforth be known as the Chanders Paradox.

* Chanders today achieved a new world record---most runs scored by a batsman at the #5 batting position in tests---he has now scored 6791 runs at #5 at an average of 58.54
* Chanders also holds the world record for the highest average by a batsman(min 1500 runs scored) at the #6 batting position---he averages 64.82 at #6
* Chanders has been very ordinary at #3 and #4----averaging in the 30s at both position.
BOTTOM LINE:
* Chanders has been a great performer at #5 and lower and an ordinary performer at #3 and #4.
RE: THE CHANDERS PARADOX
* The numbers don't lie----we all know where Chanders does his great work---#5 and lower.
* All the WI team needs to find are batsmen who can bat from #1 to #4 and from #6 to #11
* Of course, that's asking the impossible.
* WI cricket will remain in the toilet for decades to come.
