As you said Boqui, they need not give any reasons for non selection but Captaincy aside, you totally dropped a man the ICC has recently included in its International ODI playing 11!
People need to see this entire Indiangate for the benefits it will bring to current and future players, particularly around receiving contracts prior to tours, a proper handbook, guidance on Industraial action etc. Had the walk out not happened, the WICB's continual bullying would have continued ad infinitum!
Bravo will go down in the annals of West Indian History as a pivotal figure in enforcing Industrial relations change to benefit others. Hoawever the WICB has a record of reneging!
Many may be critical but lead by Lloyd, he and most of the Windian team walked out of after only two tests of the 1977-78 series, leaving Kallicharan to pick up the pieces.

I said on another thread that Bravo's actions have helped the future WI players since they will now have their contracts well in advance of any series.
What is funny about the whole business is that had the WICB presented the contracts BEFORE the players left they would have seen the compensation on offer and if they DID NOT LIKE it then they could have withdrawn their services and the WICB select alternatives.
It is LUDICROUS to have players go on tour when they would obviously expect compensation NO LESS than previous tours and you then send them contracts with reduced pay.

This is why I support the players action.
Had they completed the tour, nothing would have changed. Not issuing contracts, holding players to ransome, bullying, my way or the highway and the many other abuses would have continued!
Nothing would have changed as this incompetence has been going on for a very long time!
Sorry for the repition but Lloyd lead most of the team in walking out of the 1977-78 Australian tour to the Windies after only two tests, leaving Kalli to pick up the pieces!
Poacher turned game keeper syndrome!

Big Cat large and in charge.
They should have listened to him when he begged them not to abandon de tour.
The big cat would have fought tooth and nail for dem after the tour.
