Cook is under a tremendous amount of pressure not least because his ODI form has been poor having a once 40+ ODI average now to about 38!
Management has supported him and I will not wate time calling for his removal and Kevin should show a bit more dignity and leave it alone!
Any statement like that will only serve to show him as a fool as national mood may dictate.
He is woefully and it may not be a bad idea for him to step back from the next ODI to take stock. On the otehr hand, regaining form is all about spending time in the middle so that is what he should do.
I do not wish to pile unnecessary pressure on him at this sage as he is in Sri Lanka representing England and to tat end I am steadfastly behind him!
KP please give it ar est pal.

I agree with KP here, I think Cook should take a rest from ODI cricket, his form has been poor and also England's record in this year. But I think it is Cook's decision to make, he is the best leader in the their squad that is for sure.

I agree, Mail. I personally would not have selected Cook simply based on his ODI form which has not been good. But given that the selectors have chose him they are not going to change course this close to the World Cup and so he needs to get as many innings under his belt to try and find some form. It is concerning that Cook, Bell and Morgan are all out of form right now.

Cook as a captain & batsman is a rank failure in ODI. He is blocking aggressive players like Hales, Taylor etc . Aside Morgan to be dropped.

BIGPLOP.
Cook has been very successful in ODI with a 40+ average but has gone through a very lean period.
Management has backed him so it is futile calling for his scalp!
