KINGSTON, Jamaica -- A half-century by Nikita Miller propelled Jamaica to a moderate 208 all out at the end of day one of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Professional Cricket League (PCL) Four-Day Tournament against Windward Island Volcanoes at Sabina Park today.
Miller was left unbeaten on 57, after being involved in a 70-run ninth-wicket stand with debutante Marquino Mindley (43) that led the recovery for the Jamaicans.
Mindley returned to grab three wickets for seven runs as the Windward Island Volcanoes were at 16 for three at close of play.
Earlier captain Tamar Lambert won the toss and chose to take first strike with Jamaica losing their first two wickets to fast bowler Mervin Matthews with just three runs on the board.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
