The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has reported that progress is being made on matters relating to the premature end to the recent tour of India.
In a release yesterday, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) said president Dave Cameron met and had preliminary talks with officials from the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) while attending an International Cricket Council meeting in Dubai recently.
"The WICB remains confident that an amicable and mutually agreeable resolution can be had," the release added.
The terms of reference of the WICB-appointed Task Force to probe the matter have also been agreed on. They are:
(a) Investigate the cause of the actions perpetuated by the players leading to the withdrawal of their services. Based on the facts which emerge, the task force will render their opinion of the degree of culpability attributed to the WICB, to the West Indies Players' Association (WIPA) and to the players, and whether the action of the players was justifiable or considered a reasonable course of action.
(b) Examine the relationship between the WIPA, the West Indies Cricketers and the WICB, with a view to making recommendations on the nature and structure of the relationship between WICB and the cricketers (separate and apart from the relationship between WICB and WIPA).
(c) Design and propose a fast-track dispute-resolution mechanism which will apply to ongoing tours, and give the players an expedited process through which they may ventilate any issues so as to mitigate against the risk of future tours ending prematurely as a result of player action.
The task force will report its finding to the board of directors by December 13, 2014.
(d) Sir Richard Cheltenham has replaced Dennis Lalor on the task force. Mr Lalor withdrew in light of a potential conflict of interest. The members of the task force are Michael Gordon QC - chairman, Sir Wes Hall and Sir Richard Cheltenham QC.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Because Cameron did not think the players would walk out and leff he wid he pants down.
He was hoping that de players woulda say - OK we will talk once de tour done. And that is all it would ever be - TALK
Then when he try wid replacements de Indians tell he to fcuk off.
Dem fellas at de WICB only interested in wha money dem making and de lil power they think they have.
