31 Years since a player has scored a hundred and taken 10 wickets in the same Test.

Before Shakib, Imran Khan achieved this double against India at Faisalabad in 1983.

Ian Botham is the only other player to have achieved this feat. Shakib is the first spinner.

Wasim Akram achieved this feat during Pakistan's tour to Australia in 1990.
