Carib Beer T20 cricket tournament….
Universal Solutions Bermine have qualified for the final of the Carib Beer T20 first division cricket competition, with a three-run win over Young Warriors.
The semi-final was played on Sunday at the Port Mourant ground. By virtue of the win, Universal Solutions Bermine will meet defending champions Albion Community Centre in the final this Sunday under lights at Albion.
After invited to bat first on a two pace wicket, Universal Solutions Bermine put together a defendable total of 151-8 in their 20 overs.
Keion DeJesus top scored with 32. Devon Clements (29), Romario Shepherd (29), Damien Vantull (19) and fifteen apiece from Akeem Hinds and Joemal LaFleur, were the other batsmen to reached double figures.
Former national T20 star Imran Khan (3-5) and Kasim Khan (2-22), were the most successful bowlers for Young Warriors.
It was then an authoritative bowling display from Bermine as they restricted Young Warriors to 148-6.

Shepherd (2-18), Steven Latcha (2-29) and Jeremy Gordon (1-34) kept the Warriors batting under tight check.
Seon Hetmyer, a former national youth batsman and current Berbice player and his brother, prolific Young West Indies and senior national opener Shimron Hetmyer were not in a mood to delay the proceedings as they tore apart the Bermine bowlers with some clean hitting.
However, after added 65 in 9.2 overs, Shepherd removed Shimron for 33, while Latcha accounted for Seon for 36.
Kevin Ramdeen (16) and Ishwar Singh (21) were the only two other batsmen to offered any sort of resistance.
The battle for third place between Young Warriors and West Berbice will begin at 13:30hrs also on Sunday prior to the final.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
