Sans Souci recorded consecutive victories when the Wakenaam Neighbourhood Democratic Council (WNDC) T20

tournament got underway recently.
Playing at the Community Centre ground, Sans Souci overcame Good Success by one run. Batting first Sans Souci managed 137-9 in 20 overs. Tulsieram Ramaden led with 29; Seon Venture scored 28 and Wayne Osborne 26. Chandrika Ragnauth claimed 4-12 and Nazeer Mohamed 2-9.
Good Success replied with 136-5 in 20 overs. Charles Benjamin cracked 34, Imran Khan 31 and Lokram Narine 22. Osborne captured 2-17 and Keddernauth Narine 2-22.
Sans Souci thumped Maria’s Pleasure by 90 runs in their encounter at the said venue. Sans Souci took first strike and posted 174-6 in 20 overs. Osborne and Gurnauth Khemraj scored 34 each and Roopnarine Persaud 29.Kennard Lewis picked up 3-34 and Vinood Kumar 2-29.
Maria’s Pleasure were sent packing for 90 in 12.4 overs in reply. Naraine grabbed 3-7, Khemraj 3-15 and Osborne 3-24.
The competition continues tomorrow.
