However, T&T Guardian learned that some of the players who were on the tour of India did not make the Jamaica meeting because they could not get a flight. According to the player: “These men sent flight information at 1 am on Saturday for a flight to Jamaica which was carded for 8 am. When men showed up for the flight the plane broke down, so we could not get over there for the meeting. “We asked that the officials from both sides converse with us via skype and they refused saying that there was no Internet coverage at the Pegasus.†The player continued saying: “What we heard from some of the A team players were that while the meeting was going on in Jamaica on Sunday night, a selector was calling them to enquire whether they would be interested in touring South Africa.â€

WIPA & WICB may be at "fault" in not communicating to cricketers on India tour, but several players from that tour seems least interested in sitting across the table & negotiate a deal which will eventually save West indies Cricket & world cricket in General. WICB should open up channel with players like Mr Samuels (sure there are others on that tour) & pick up a team which will represent WI in SA & WC. Am sorry to say, i see players like Mr Bravo, Mr Pollard etc have to loyalty towards WI cricket & including them is future tours won`t help WI.
Let WICB continue with their NOC to them for t20`s worldwide & let committed players play for WI in International forums.

You know we are discussing about West Indian people here. The islanders have consistently proven the " Flynn effect" wrong.

I just hope they they manage to get out of this precarious situation they are funding themselves in right now. An SA tour would be amazing to see!
