I think test and one day record is the best of Australia. but India and Sri Lanka looking good. Before 80s It West Indies. so it's very difficult to say which the best

Historically its been Australia, in Test Match's with the better win / loss record, four one day World Cups., T20 is new but it won't be long before they assume dominance.

Th Australian era is over now as players like Gilhrist, Hayden, Hogg and Symonds are not thee anymore. Indians , South Africans are looking pretty god so far.

70-80 s : Wi,the invincibles..nearly
Post 80-s : Aus,Ind,SL in different phases.
