SAILING
Antigua is the sailing capital of the Caribbean and is a particular favourite for the yachting community. Antigua Sailing Week, which the island hosts annually, is one of the top five sailing regattas in the world, and the best in the Caribbean.
ZIP THROUGH THE RAINFOREST
Zip across the top of the rainforest canopy, or relax and enjoy the stunning views at the rain-forest café.
CHECK OUT THE WILDLIFE
Swim with the sting rays and go turtle-watching, snorkel amongst magnificent coral reefs and tropical fish and get up close to Southern sting rays. Alternatively, journey by boat in the still of night to an off-shore island to witness the magic of tiny sea turtles emerging from the sand and clambering towards the sea.
SPICE UP YOUR LIFE
You can’t visit Antigua and Barbuda without being introduced to the nation’s favourite rum, the English Harbour five-year-old, and the legendary Susie’s Hot Sauce. Try it, you won’t regret it (you might immediately after but it’s all worth it, we promise).
HAVE A HISTORY LESSON
The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda tells the story of the two islands from their geological birth right through to the present day. It’s a fascinating experience that offers plenty for the whole family.
