Well to be fair to them their case is that the MOU was signed without due process and consultation and thus is not bona fides (without good faith). They could challenge its legality on this basis and if the facts are correct they should win.
So again. It's pointless for Cameron to maintain the position that the MOU is of legal force and effect given all that's occurred within the past 3 weeks and the fact that the MOU may very well be declared void ab initio.

Please remember the lay men ::LOL:: : only Mail can speak Latin !
The term void ab initio, which means "to be treated as invalid from the outset,"
comes from adding the Latin phrase ab initio (from the beginning) as a qualifier.
For example, in many jurisdictions where a person signs a contract under duress,
that contract is treated as being void ab initio.

I agree the key enabler is for Wavell to vacate his post.
Also the legality of the CBA/ MoU is highly questionable given its implementation sans support of its members.

You cannot base a reasonable salary on a few players who may earn a bit more and would you begrudge these guys earning well in what is normally a short career. I do not!
On what basis do you conclude Bravo should not play for the Windies again?
Do not think to clandestinely manouvre a situation which means a drop in salary of 65-75% is ethical?
Yes there might be issues of performance, performance related pay etc but they are separate ongoing operational issues.
Starting from scratch is a solution for both the WIPA and WICB. I agreee key people should just step down and have the WICB structure rationalised.

Mr. Hinds will disagree with that statement. According to him he bargained what the players asked for as he understood it!

In striking the senior players have cut off their noses to spite their faces and that cannot be in the best interest of West Indies Cricket. Yes, WIPA and the WICB may have blundered to some degree in this case but it is the senior players, in striking while on tour, who have really dropped the ball.

dhoni,
You may wish to put the blame at the players' door, as you are aware, this is not a new thing so players are weary and have little trust so to carry on with teh tour was no or little guarantee that the issues will be resolved.
I have asked this question before but I will also put it to you. If you turned up at work tomorrow and youa re told your salary has been cut by 75%, would you carry on working?
After understanding the ramifications of teh CBA/ MoU, the players continued until after teh 4th ODI and no resolution was forthcoming so what makes you think it would have come at all....
They are weary of the underhanded behaviour of the WICB.

Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
