Fineleg,
Prior to this debacle, I had hoped the WICB would be getting their house in order but I doubt this will ever happen.
What do you think?
I would have thought Wavell would have done the honourable thing and stepped down. I expected those on the perpetual gravy train would cling on for dear life.
It would be interesting to see how the players are dealt with leading to the SA tour.

The simplest way forward is for Hinds to resign as head of WIPA immediately. The players could then unanimously elected a new President and begin negotiations with WICB for a new MOU and CBA.
Of course this will not happen and I'm pretty sure Hinds will need to be forcibly removed by the players. This will inevitably delay the negotiation of a new MOU and CBA with the WICB which could in turn jeopardize the South Africa tour and possibly the World Cup.

to save the SA tour
can the WICB go to some court and get the Union Void since it does not have full support of it's member
send each player a letter that the SA tour will be based on the last payment structure

Nah. Cameron cannot take the position that the previous MOU is still of force and effect. It may very well be the legal position but it is not the pragmatic position to take.
The players may very need to have an arbitrator declare that MOU void ab initio so they can proceed forward with a clean slate.

The players won't accept it. The WICB is not the BCCI. They simply don't have the coin (not to mention goodwill) to deal directly with the individual players the way the BCCI does with its players.
