Denesh Ramdin has quietly put up some huge numbers with the bat in the 11 one dayers he has played thus far in 2014

Ramo's stats in 2014
* I can see why Ramdin is batting at #5 in the ODI team. The numbers don't lie.

And he's batting with aggression, confidence, style and brains. Today, during a short 2 over period, he was toying with the fielders like I haven't seen a WI batsman do since Lara. It's captaining T20 games that seemed to have pushed him into becoming a better batsman.

Since Ramo got married to Janelle he has undergone a complete metamorphosis. He is more mature and responsible and that is reflected in his cricket.

Rev, you are correct. He has come a long way. IMO, he has the best cricketing brain on the WI team...don't know why he has not been named skipper in all formats!
