Qatar hoping to host Pakistan cricket

Pakistan could soon be playing international cricket matches in Qatar.

The gulf state says its in talks to host them as early as next year after teams' refusal to play in Pakistan due to security concerns since 2009.

Following successful women's T20 and ODI tournaments earlier this year, Doha played host to some great players of the past in an exhibition Twenty20.

Names inlcluded Brian Lara, Sanath Jayasuriya, Herchelle Gibbs, Abdul Razzaq and Rashid Latif.
