A day after Sunil Narine was reported for a suspect action in the Champions League T20, West Indies coach Stuart Williams has said he believed that the offspinner will "get over" the controversy "in a positive way".
"We haven't actually spoken to Sunil as yet. Sunil obviously is a champion. He is a strong character," Williams told reporters during the West Indies' first media interaction after arriving in India for a full series.
"Obviously the captain (Dwayne Bravo) is also playing for Chennai (Super Kings) so, we haven't sat down and spoken about it as yet. So we are still waiting for a couple of days to have a chat ... I think he will get over this in a positive way."
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
