* Alvin Kallicharran played in 66 tests
.
* Kali's batting was severely hampered by bursitis in the shoulders---he failed miserably in his last 16 tests.
* His test average dropped from 50.19 after 50 tests to 44.43 after 66 tests.

After he had his operation to fix the shoulder problem he went on to dominate English county cricket. What were his first class stats after the operation?

Rev: instead of giving these dudes Fish : teach 'em how to use a CastNet
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.
A saying which suggests that the ability to work is of greater benefit than a one-off handout

* Kali's last test for the West Indies was in Dec 1980 against Pakistan
* His best year in English county cricket was in 1982 when he scored 2120 runs for Warwickshire with 8 hundreds(3 double hundreds) and 5 fifties.
* But by then he was banned from playing for the West Indies because he played in the rebel tour to South Africa.

Ketch:
* Most cricket fans are in the 99%. They don't know numbers and argue cricket strictly on emotion.
* Those of us blessed to be among the 1% must be kind and generous with the less fortunate souls. ;D
