Still recovering from a hamstring injury, swashbuckling batsman Chris Gayle was on Wednesday left out of the West Indies’ 15-member squad for the one-day series against India scheduled next month.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Christopher Onry Gayle has to rest himself up for the world cup and the IPL next year.
* With Onry missing the onedayers in October, he may also choose to miss the test series in November. He will clearly not be match ready.
* In any case the WI one day team will be clobbered by #1 ranked India and #2 ranked South Africa in their next 2 one day series.

Ahh..That's good news for us,because he could have been a force to reckon with if he was there.India won't have to fear anyone at the top.
It is sad that he has to miss out,but it surely is advantage India now..(WI can expect a royal mauling at their hands..)

Well when since a hamstring injury considered a private matter? Wasn't that the reason we got as to why he was left out of the final test against Bangladesh? I hope Gayle recovers soon and will be available for the test or t20 is there is any. Maybe Gayle should call it a season and get ready for next year's world cup.

He's so injury prone. Good luck to him with the recovery though. And yes, prepare himself for the WC - this hardly matters much. Although TBH when was the last time he played a significant/game changing knock in ODIs?
