this tea I agree with Kallichiran's assessment of the situation. However, I am annoyed that in every instance some persons are eager to lay the blame solely on the West Indies Board for the demise of West Indes Cricket without considering all the variables.
many of the youngsters in the West Indies have not gravitated towards cricket because it is not as attractive and does not have the appeal that most of the major sporting disciplines.
Take, for instance, Usain Bolt he had displayed good cricketing skills as a youngster. if he was as good as a cricketer as he is an athlete, would he be able to garner the same level of fame and fortune he is now enjoying?
England is on of the major cricketing country, however, the level of support pales in comparison to the level of support for the football leagues.
Cricket is huge in India mostly because there Is no other sport that they are good at that that could probably compete there with cricket for attention.
The ICC should move from trying to maintain this tea party like atmosphere within the sort and seek to get more countries involved so that the sport would be able to be more attractive. I can't perceive that cricket being a major sport with so few countries participating worldwide.
