Frylinck to Marsh, SIX, Marsh, take a bow! He's racing to his team-mates who have invaded the field.
Six needed, six got, match dusted, lets go home. Another low full toss, Marsh wound up and sends it
soaring into the sightscreen!
What a finish!

Mitch Marsh pulls a Shiv !
In T20s, that happens all the time. Didn't Bravo hit a last-ball six to win a T20 game recently?
Shiv's last ball win was more epic. I think it's the only last ball win like that in an ODI. Miandad might have done it as well, but that could have been a test match.
Also, NOBODY expected the win. Shiv looked like a tiny deer caught in headlights.
"Wuh Lara"
Lara was retired. Shiv prayed to Lara before those 2 balls, though.
EDIT - lol, I just watched that video again. Desperate times, six runs needed, and Shiv focussed on fixing his wardrobe. It's incredible how many tics he has. Before every ball he adjusts his box, licks himself like a cat, fixes his helmet, his gloves, does a little squat, adjusts his eyes, spits, fixes his pants.....
I wonder if this routine is part of his mental preparation; helps him re-focus perhaps.

I think Wayne Daniel may have hit a six off the last ball, or close to the end, in an ODI to win the game.
I recall being there and I think it was in the Caribbean....
Perhaps someone knows.
Trott has a list of routines as well. Most batsmen do but not to that extent.
I find taking my guard frequently help me refocus.

I hope I am not getting it mixed up but in 1978 in a WSC game against Australia he hit a 6 of the penultimate ball, with 5 runs required, to give Windies victory.

Quality stuff! I was like whoa, they're out of this now surely. And still he did it. The guy's been in terrific form.
